Rooted in Laudato Si’, Driven by Youth
At the International Youth Training Centre (IYTC), ecological justice is a core part of our mission. Inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’, we promote care for creation, environmental responsibility, and sustainable living.
We recognize that the ecological crisis is closely connected to issues of social justice, poverty, and inequality. Communities who contribute the least to environmental degradation—such as Indigenous Peoples and rural communities often suffer the most from climate change.
Through youth education, leadership programs, and sustainable practices on our campus, IYTC encourages young people to become leaders for ecological responsibility and environmental justice.
